Hello everyone,yes its been a year since i have not blogged.Actually I never blog,but I came to know that this is the best medium to actually put all your thoughts and feeling and release your inner burden.Burden not necessarily be a bad one,but can be anything which I feel like posting or sharing.So here it goes
The title of my new post means something.Yes I am into Video Shooting now.Apart from my passion for photography I discovered my funny side by expressing it in a way by creating videos.I have been posting videos since August 2011 on YouTube and I am getting a fair response from there.Let me tell you how it all started.
I had an YouTube account since 2006.I posted video of my best buddy Himanshu over there just for fun.During that time YouTube was just in its initial days and was not that popular.Then i uploaded a video which was famous in our society 'THE KARATE KIDS'.Actually these videos were not meant to be shared with public as such.I just wanted to use YouTube as a database to store my videos.Then after a few months I just happen to check the views.It counted to 280 and I was astonish that people are actually viewing the video.But that didn't ring any bell into my mind to make videos
Years passed by and himanshu shared a video on my facebook wall.It was of nigahiga's 'How to be an emo'.I viewed it and was laughing like anything.Then I browsed all of his videos and instantly became his fan.He was the first person on YouTube to whom i had subscribed to.Then it struck'ed me to make scripted videos and post it on YouTube.Himanshu and I made our first scripted video 'INTRODUCTION - GANG OF 4'.It was a lame attempt and was inspired by nigahiga's videos.It was in October 2010 that we posted it on YouTube.
Then days passed by and I began to think YouTube as a serious medium where we can actually showcase our funny side and make really good videos.But Himanshu was not serious at all.He just passed the idea and kept me hanging by saying that 'yes we'll do it',but when he didn't say that.I also didn't push him that much during that time.I again put forward the idea of YouTube to himanshu,but he again passed the idea and laughed.Then I said to myself that its not possible at all.But one fine day,what came into himanshu's mind and he himself came and said that lets make a video.I was both confused and exited at that time and didn't care as to why suddenly he came up with this.I came to know the reason that he fought with his better half and wanted to shift away from that thought.
We shot a video that would depict our life as to how useless and frustrated it is.We decided to call it the 'Vlog Series ' that would be in episodes.We uploaded it on YouTube but we were a little apprehensive to share it on the various social medias cause we were thinking that people would make fun of us.Then we thought that people will keep on saying,that should not stop us from doing anything.So i shared it on my facebook wall and the first comment i got was 'What the hell is this'.In a way I was expecting this.But I was confident that at first everyone will laugh and then in the course of time they'll will get used to it and think of us as the funniest guys.
And that thing happened when we posted are Vlog episode 2 video which made everyone laugh and everybody was complementing us.Then from that day onwards there was no looking back.We made a total of 5 video of Vlog series and it fetched really good views and comments and promoted it in every forums and sites which we could.Because of this I also came to know about my domain that made me interested in DIGITAL MARKETING.
I got a mail from YouTube stating that our videos were fetching a decent views would you like to monetize it and place ads over your videos.On hearing this himanshu and I was supper exited and accepted the offer with open arms.Till now we are making funny videos and will continue to do so as long as we can.Our aim as of now is to become YouTube partners,but I guess that has to wait.
This was it.A new Mode A new Beginning.Hope we succeed in what we are doing...:-)
